Established in April 2024 by Estee Marie, a graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design. EMRI was created from a deep passion for both sustainability and haute couture.
With an awareness that these meticulously crafted gowns—often taking up to 80 hours of expert craftsmanship—are typically worn only once, Estee founded EMRI to offer fashion enthusiasts worldwide the opportunity to acquire these extraordinary pieces at a fraction of their original cost.

The name “EMRI” blends Estee’s initials (EM) with “RI,” a nod to Resale and her Assyrian/Chaldean heritage - the word “UMRI,” means “life” symbolizing giving more life to each gown. In under two years, EMRI has successfully helped over 500 clients, and we are thrilled to extend our global reach through this platform, continuing to provide access to high-end fashion with a mission of sustainability.
